Your account (name, email), your family tree (relatives’ names, dates, places, photos, relationships), the memories you save (stories, photos, videos, voice notes), messages with relatives, and the pages you create (biographies, heritage pages, wedding stories). If you choose to use the Health Tree, hereditary health notes you enter are stored too — that feature is entirely optional and off by default.
You control visibility. Private things stay private to you; family things are visible only to relatives you’ve accepted a connection with; public things (a Heritage Page or a published Wedding Story) are visible to anyone with the link — and only because you published them. We never make something public on your behalf.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t show ads. We don’t train AI models on your family’s content. We don’t share health information with anyone — no insurers, no partners, nobody.
Your data lives in Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and the site is served by Vercel. When you use an AI feature, only the content needed for that feature is sent to the AI provider and used solely to produce your result: Anthropic (writing biographies, heritage text and wedding stories), Replicate (photo restoration, colourisation and Living Portraits), and OpenAI Whisper (transcribing voice interviews). Emails (reminders, invitations) are delivered via Resend. Maps use OpenStreetMap.
Family voice and video calls are peer-to-peer: the audio and video stream directly between your devices and are never recorded or stored by us.
We use cookies only to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.
Export everything as a file, or delete your account and all its data permanently — both are self-serve in your Privacy Center. Your tree can also be exported as GEDCOM, the open genealogy standard, so you’re never locked in. These rights follow India’s DPDP Act and the EU’s GDPR — but we’d honour them regardless.
Trees naturally contain information about family members. Please add living relatives respectfully — and if someone asks you to remove them from your tree, do so. If anyone believes information about them should be removed from BloodlineBridge, write to us and we’ll help.
